Bob Moorhouse has captured an authentic pictorial chronicle of the cowboy way of life for almost 20 years. His stunningly beautiful photographs hang in the offices of several major oil companies, a variety of businesses and private offices and the homes of countless admirers of his extraordinary eye for true images of the west.

His first book is "The Pitchfork Country [Photography of Bob Moorhouse".

In March 2002, Bob was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.

A collection of Bob Moorhouse’s photographs has become the American Quarter Horse Heritage Center and Museum’s first traveling exhibit. It has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, entitled "Hoofbeats on the Pitchfork Ranch".

He has also been published in various publications including, The Cattlemen, Western Horseman, Quarterhorse Magazine, American Cowboy, Range Magazine as well as other publication.

Bob was born November 6, 1947 in Knox City, Texas to J.C. (Togo) and Lucille Moorhouse. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University, receiving a B.S. degree in Animal Business.

Bob Moorhouse is Vice-President and General Manager of the Pitchfork Land and Cattle Co. of Guthrie and Benjamin, Texas and also in Eskridge, Kansas where commercial Hereford and Crossbred cattle are raised, as well as Quarter Horses for ranch use. Bob has been with the Pitchfork Ranch for 25 years.

He is a director of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers where he serves on the TSCRA Labor Committee, a director of the American Quarter Horse Association, serving on the Marketing Committee, superintendent of the West Texas Fair and Rodeo Hereford show in Abilene, Texas, member of The Ranching Heritage Association in Lubbock, Texas and a Director of the Working Ranch Cowboys Association in Amarillo, Texas.
